Name: Kiba Sasakami Age: 17 Birthday: July 8th Grade Average: B
History: Kiba's family raised him well and he was a regular guy as he grew up. He was a normal kid with a traditional family, no major childhood traumas, and a decent mind and body. It was thus anyone's guess why he decided to become a pagan for his 13th birthday. Kiba found himself feeling a spiritual attraction to lesser known religions, dismissing Buddhism, Shinto, and Christianity in favor of smuggled in books on Druidism, Celtic beliefs, and Indigenous People faiths. He didn't pick one path, preferring to mix and match whatever looked interesting to him. Some might say he was just jumping on bandwagons and didn't really believe anything, he just like doing foreign dances, chanting strange sounds, and mocking those of more traditional beliefs as 'too conformist.' He would usually responded that the others were just 'harshing his chi.' He's been in minor trouble with the law, though fortunately for him he's quick to abandon any part of his beliefs that would get him in serious trouble. To fill time at school he joins book clubs and historical groups.
Appearance: Tall, almost gangly, but walks with balance and poise. Is dressed in 'counter culture' clothes. Often wears chains based on a book he read that said that some ancient cultures did so.
Personality: An odd duck. Usually very tranquil and serene, but when he is engaged in his pagan stuff he can become animated. Determined. Often a peacemaker, although not with Akimitchi, who creeps him out. Not exactly lecherous, but he's made it clear to many girls that he 'does not have that strange taboo against love and relations that the mainstream faiths have.'
Strengths: - Knowledge. He's not brilliant, but he reads a lot and knows a great many things. - Swift. Able to shift his positions or beliefs to escape trouble, knows better than to defend a belief to the death. - Inoffensive. He's a little weird, but he's surprisingly hard to dislike.
Weaknesses: - Close minded to people who disagree with his dismissal of other faiths. - Happy-go-lucky, does not plan ahead. - Out of shape, albeit not badly.
Overnight Bag: clothes, equipment for rituals (candles, incense, certain herbs that are generally illegal).
Father - Yoji Sasakami, math teacher.
Mother - Saori Sasakami, florist.
Siblings - None
Extra-Curricular Activities: Book club, history club, pagan.
Classroom Behaviour: Quiet and spacy, but does his work.
Classroom Clique: None. Any Memorable Moments: None. Friends and enemies: Image:
Played by: Kanata Hongo

Name: Akimitchi Tsurikan Age: 16 Birthday: October 24th Grade Average: C+
History: Akimitchi grew up in a loving family. He was chubby, and stayed fairly chubby, and so was teased, but he also had good friends at school. His family worked in government jobs, so they had money, and he lived in a nice house and could buy nice toys and ice cream.
Then one day a fugitive fleeing the Japanese police in a convertible plowed into the Tsurikan family car, killing Akimitchi's parents and igniting the wrecks in a fireball. Akimitchi lived, but with horrible scars on his face.
He was transfered to a new school. The government, seeing a great PR opportunity, played up his tragic fall as a way of tarnishing the fugitive (who had been associated with a protest group) and set him up in a small house and pension. He also, of course, gained access to his late parent's funds.
He went into the school and was quickly hated by everyone -- for being new, for being a bit fat, for being so ugly. He grew to hate the people there quickly, and mostly keeps to himself. He's the guy sitting in the corner with a candy bar, glaring daggers at the happy people.
His only talent is with the flute, and he's joined the band club as a flautist. This has not helped his popularity.
Appearance: Akimitchi is slightly overweight -- just slightly, but noticably. And of course his face is badly burned and scarred.
Personality: Pessimistic, cynical, and offensive. He's at the point where he assumes everyone will be a jerk to him even if they haven't yet -- an assumption which often bears fruit, but occasionally chases well-meaning people away. Has become rather selfish as a result. He has very few friends, among them a Kiku Mori who managed to get past his shell. She is one of few people that he cares about, and he reacts with genuine anger when others insult her -- which just leads to him getting more ridicule.
Strengths: - Hard shell. By this point he's closed himself off from most other people, so they can't get to him as easily. As a result he is immune from normal taunting. - Music. Has an ear for rhythm and melody, and is almost virtuoso-level with the flute. - Loyalty. He has few friends, but those he likes he'll defend to the death. Particularly Kiku.
Weaknesses: - Out of shape. - Very few friends/allies. - Offensive nature. - Self-pitying.
Overnight Bag: comic magazines, video games, plenty of candy.
Father - Hito Tsurikan, undersecretary to the minister of commerce. Deceased.
Mother - Takako Tsurikan, lawyer for the department of inventions and patents. Deceased.
Siblings - None
Extra-Curricular Activities: Band, as a flautist. Good enough that he gets the solo flute parts when one is needed.
Classroom Behaviour: Quiet, and does his work intermittently. Has been known to lash out at teachers occasionally if he finds them mean or patronizing. Rarely participates or socializes.
Classroom Clique: None. Any Memorable Moments: None. Friends and Enemies:
Friends:
Kiku Mori: She likes him, and he thinks the world of her. He wants to protect her, going so far as to follow her home a few times in case a bad guy would jump her on the way. Of course, he's socially clueless about how to explain the depths of his feelings for her.
Ryo Jo: He doesn't mock Aki, and is nice even after Aki's initial angry comments when approached, so Aki doesn't mind talking with him. He finds having a friend like that refreshing, actually.
Fuuka Kuroki: She is also overweight, so he sees her as sympathetic. They can talk without fighting, at least.
Enemies:
Daisuke Arai: Kiku's boyfriend, whom Aki sees as trying to take Kiku from him. He values Kiku so much that he hates her boyfriend because, well, he's just that jealous. He'd be nice to him in public, for Kiku's sake, but he would be quite happy if he drove off a cliff.
Kotone Fujino: She picks on him for his bad attitude, which only gives him a worse attitude. From his point of view, he deserves this viewpoint because everyone hates him, and if she affects to not understand that, she's on the side of his enemies. Occasionally she's nice to him is Mika is on his case, and then he's sort of unsure what to feel, and so at that times she's in the middle between 'friend' and 'enemy.'
Miki Honda: She mocks his weight and his disfigurement. He hates her guts.
